Not how we'd dreamed it would happen

Thu May 05, 2011 8:54 pm

The postponement of the decision re the QPR hearing could present the situation where we potentially win at Burnley and without knowing we're promoted to the EPL, if the decision that will most likely be delivered next week goes our way.

Promotion without even a celebration in the stand following a game or a celebration of a goal that we knew for certain would take us up...this i'm sure is not how most of us envisaged promotion I know, but is a real possibility.

Going up without that celebration and by default, whilst coining the countrywide phrase of 'Dont do a Cardiff' along the way would take a huge amount of gloss of it all for me if we did get promoted - but hey, beggers cant be choosers, and beggers we certainly are after that pathetic performance on Monday!

Cant argue with that...It would take me a while (maybe 10 mins or so :D ) then i'd be right with you! :ayatollah:

It just takes the edge off the pure ecstasy we would feel if we went up the conventional way imo, but like i said a place in the EPL cant be snuffed at, no matter how its presented!

reading post here for the last week, we must sound desperate to the outside world. it does come to something. when our only hope. as it sounds. is for qpr to loose points, lets face it. we werent good enough to go up automatic. although i dont know why? look at the clubs that have gone up. from the boardroom to the cleaner. there better than us,,,,, its not just the players and managers that get you promotiion. its the whole club package. and we aint got it. we need a revamp,

Have to say i fully agree, not at one point in the season did I genuinely feel we were all moving in a parallel direction in unison. That in my opinion is don to the the fact we have a devisive character who oozes self gratitude leading the clu s supposed charge for promotion
