They will not be changed - the FA will be scheduling the playoff's as already announce on the days planned for.
They will not change their stance on the playoffs at all - regardless of what happens at tomorrows announcement.
Strongest indication yet, that QPR seem to be ok!

If we finish 3rd, lets get VTs lawyers on the case.

If they are found not guilty of any charges it wouldnt make a difference! Wasn't it the fact that if they were found guilty and penalised into 2nd place, they could go all legal again..... Surely if they are not guilty - then there is no case to answer to.

What are you referring to ?

if qpr get away with a petty fine after breaking 7 rules when these rules only came out after the tevez sarga
Thu May 05, 2011 3:09 pm
Actually the quote is " the playoffs will go ahead whatever, the outcome" so if qpr are deducted points and they appeal or don't want to take part in the playoffs (assuming the point deduction does not take them out of the playoffs) then the FA will nominate the 7th team to take part in the playoffs

again this could be boom or bust. Either nothing is done or QPR could be facing straight relegation like Swindon in the 90s and the idea of points deduction just not being as sufficient a punishment.

How would QPR be '
getting away with anything if we are CLEARED of the charges?

The club are talking about the home leg of the playoff being a
"Provisional" Monday 16th or Tuesday 17th May so I'll be buying my ticket on Saturday afternoon online.
Don't care who we play but having a potential Monday night game with a few pissheads in our squad is a big worry for me Merlin.

The media reports are that QPR have been told by the Football League that the play-offs will be played as per the original schedule - with or without them. The impression is that any appeal that QPR choose to make will not be allowed to cast a shadow over the schedule and the plans of other teams.

Obviously this indicates that QPR are getting a 20 point deduction and are hence not going up or in the play offs.
Or it may be bullshit

Intersting it could therefore be the league playing hardball and say accept the punishment or it could be a whole lot worse for you. Maybe a point deduction taking them even out of the play-offs with no chance of re-entry on appeal.
