The main concern I have is whether he can maintain that improvement past the 1st couple of seasons. For players like Jay, Burke,etc. the jury is out until we see how the next few weeks pan out because performing under pressure is key.

Mc Naughton's defending the 1st half on Monday was abysmal too and very costly ....... he took it out on the poor lino Miss Massey tho who incidently is doing the Jerks game on Saturday . She commented that she enjoyed Kev's stiff tackle

The only one from our current squad is Hudson.

I would also add that he has done good business with most of our Scottish players...

McNaughts is a CCFC Legend although he probably had his worst game in a Blue shirt on Monday

Burke has been a great servant and on his day is class, but only seen the best of him a few times this season.

Quinn has turned into a steady defender who hasnt ket us down over the last 15 games

Steve Thompson, good Championship player and good business.

Ross, great signing and fantastic 1st season then went on the Jon Parkin diet.

Gavin Rae has served us well as a steady Championship player, but not good enough for a top 6 team.

Neil Alexander is as good as any keeper we've had since.

In hindsight, I agree that Husdon should have been brought back in. However, that defence that performed so badly on Monday had only conceded 4 goals in the last 6 games and 50% of those goals were scored by the Championship Player of the Year.
So DJ would have been slated if he'd changed a winning team, we'd lost and Hudosn hadnt played very well. Dont forget Hudson's not match fit.

You cant legisalate for individual errors....Kevin and Keinan have been immense for us this season but they made basic defensive mistakes that they normally would deal with their eyes shut.

However JLS must now be dropped for Burnley.....he clearly looked like he couldnt give a sh1t. All 3 goals came from the left and he made no attempt to stop a cross or close his man down.
He has let DJ, his teammates and the fans down, although thats the risk you take with a loan player....

Hudson should have been included in the first XI vs Middlesbrough providing he was sober, otherwise it wouldn't have made much difference...
