Perhaps the reason some of our players have never properly made it in the Premiership (Bothroyd, Samuel, Whittingham) is because they have no maturity, dedication or self control. Perhaps the reason that Rooney, Giggs, Scholes etc have been at the top of the game for so long is that they don't go on the piss so near to a crucial game. They know how to conduct themnselves and how to prepare for a game that will help shape their careers.
