The more I read Bothroyds Twitter comments

He said we need to defend better - yes he covered himself by saying we defend as a team, but he is clearly getting as close to a dig against our defence as he can. Putting the blame on them. Now granted, his drinking partner JLS was shit - but the rest were hardly helped by essentially playing with 9 men the whole time.

I'm sick of him not accepting responsibility, and acting like he loves the club - throwing his boots into the crowd, comments about the fans. None of it has any substance to it when you see this person treating us and our club like f*cking mugs.

i agree with some of the comments and believe that bothroyd hasn't got the best attitude, but he will pull his weight throughout the play offs. he went through a rough patch but after getting on his back his work rate became better. he isn't at his best but we can all expect the best from him in the play offs. support them until the end of the season then judge.

if jay was better than he was he's score 20 every season and would of played in the premier league,
he's a good player hit some great form, but overall he tends to average 10-15 a season not the most prolific striker around

he's definately complacent at times but it could all be down to the team if the buzz aint their around the team then we aren't going to gel every match and people will have shit games.

What a load of rubbish, people know he was out late and now on his back, few were after the game where IMO he worked hard. If you don't want to read his tweets unfollow him, some people enjoy reading his comments without having a go. No wonder footballers don't are good off twitter with comments like that.

Well, if you must know, media sources tend to take twitter comments as interviews now - hence the echos back page consisted of bothroyds gripes. So it has nothing to do with unfollowing him on twitter.

I'm assuming that's the echo he hasn't said Anything wrong.
