What does Saturday mean to you ?

Wed May 04, 2011 5:14 pm

On the basis QPR get a points deduction and we need the win to go up.

I have been supporting Cardiff City since about 7/8 years old that's 36 years and as far as i can remember bar the odd promotion it was about Relegation. It was about Camaraderie with my fellow supporters/it was about the relationship with the players at the time. The most memorable moment for me was beating Scunthorpe to win the old 4th Division Championship and dreaming we could do the same the following year. But as we all know we went straight back down after Rick Wright pulled the plug. We then dreamed with Sam we all believed the dream he had but with Cardiff City it went pear shaped and instead of promotion we all prayed we had a Club to support.

Then came the FA Cup final and to me it didn't seem real it was if i was waiting to wake up but at the last hurdle we failed but that memory will stay with me forever. (Unlike the plastics whose Prem team do it all time !!) .
When we left Ninian Park it felt that i never said good bye properly because of the disrespect shown but if we get into the Prem on Saturday or even through the Play offs then that will eclipse everything above. The players would stand amongst the greats that had graced our Stadium before them, and i will admit they are better players, but the commitment and love the older generation showed our Club was immense and i just want those players to understand the affection and Love we have for the team we call the mighty Bluebirds . CARDIFF CITY

It would mean that the hard core support who spent years upon years experiencing depressing times both on and off the pitch finally get rewarded for their loyalty.

Nothing,,,,unless we win, & win well. I expect a City performance of courage, guts & derermination, & no little skill either. After the Boro debacle that is the least the players owe us fans. Anything less would be unforgivable!

Sorry but at this monent in time i just feel the chance has gone.

Even if we are lucky enough to see QPR deducted points we then require to beat Burnley. I cannot see us doing that after our capitulation Monday. When we play like that we seem to play like it for many games afterwards. We dont do bouncebacks.

Saturday to me feels like it is going to be another disappointment and I thank those idiots on the pitch for making me feel like that.

been supporting city for 32 years and have experienced every emotion possible as a result. once again sat as many times before i will raise my hopes and dare to believe acheiving something that not that long ago would be deemed impossible.and whatever the outcome the love affair will still be as strong as possible because loving city simply is for ever :ayatollah:
