According to DJ Tony Mowbray

Tue May 03, 2011 8:06 am

Was in the dressing room wondering where that team had been all season

Tony Mowbray said that his players were playing for their professional pride after reading that they would be rolled over by Cardiff. Borough had the same thing away at Hull 9 days ago where they returned with a 4-2 away victory against a team with one of the best defensive home records in the division. I have good players who when they are allowed to function like they were in the first half they will hurt any team. :? :? :?

So DJ couldn't see a performance like that coming from Middlesbrough and openly questions where that team has been all season 9 days after becoming the only away team to score 4 goals at the KC stadium this season. DJ couldn't see it coming well this for me tells you everything you need to understand about the man, his somber and languid approach to his work is epitomised in this one statement. I was always told you cannot teach an old dog new tricks well this is one old dog who in football terms needs a visit to the vet for the big injection.

I hope the vet comes in the form of a knock on the door for VT :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Over to you Vincent

He can't say it wasn't coming. Only lost one game in ten games and improving week by week. Tony Mowbray is too nice and probably just wanted to make DJ feel better.
