Koumas and Blake ...

... should have played far more often this season than they did.

Blake's problem is an inability to actually pass the ball. Some great tackles, sure, but does that matter if he gives the ball away 10 yards away?

Koumas had no pre-season, barely kicked a ball for Wigan - was always going to struggle for match fitness and pick up niggling injuries along the way. And given Jones struggled to get Chops, Bellamy, Bothroyd in the team in a working formation, throwing Koumas in the mix would strain his brain cell.

koumas has been injury prone but now yeah id have to agree,mcphail is shot unfortunately,its just not there at this level anymore
as for blake he always impresses me when he comes on, full of energy,dj does not seem to know what to do with him,the thing is the eleven hes been playing lately have been great until tonight
