" WELL DAVE JONES HAS ASKED TO STAY ON "
If we get promoted or if we fail DAVE JONES WANTS TO NOW STAY. Honest Opinions Please ?
We have failed to go up Automatically, but IF and I mean a Big IF we go up via the play offs would you want him to stay on next season ?

It's quite simple really:
DJ had a squad of top top top calibre, and a very healthy budget, didn;t invest in a creative CAM a la Surman Hoolahan/ Taarant, and didn't invest in a proper left back, the man's a fool.
DJ

GOT A CHANCE TO LEARN FROM HIS BOTTLING LESSONS AND HAS YET AGAIN FAILED, get rid of him!

time for a change. need a manager with new ideas who can change games and motivate. dj is good just not good enough
Mon May 02, 2011 9:07 pm
We need a shake up whether we up or stay down. This squad of players should have walked this league

Neil Warnock please!
Mon May 02, 2011 9:08 pm
If we fail, he has to go.
If we go up, I guess he deserves a chance to stay.
Personally I think the time has come to thank him for the progress we have made so far but for us to move on without him. I think the last couple of years being nearly men means is taking its toll.

his time is up,we need a manager,a motivator, someone to lead and sadly this is not D.J.,i do appreciate the season is not over but yet again we seem to crumble at the final hurdle

DJ has at least three more games as City manager, so lets see after that, but as far as im concerned, DJ IS responsible for todays pathetic result, 100%. The whole culture, ethos , attitude of our playing squad mirrors that of his own person!

Why is Jones asking to stay on?
If he fails to get us promoted then he HAS TO GO.
the malaysians wont be looking at his begging attempts to stay if he doesnt get them promotion then he has got to go.
Mon May 02, 2011 9:10 pm
If we go up then it would be very harsh to get rid of him. He deserves his shot....
....but if we don't go up then he needs to go, he has had his chance and we need a fresh start.

Dave Jones got us to a FA Cup Final (albeit with a very easy run) , but bottled it.
Dave Jones got us within 1 goal of the play-offs (1 goal ffs) , but bottled it.
Dave Jones got us to a play-off final (surely we were favourites to beat Blackpool) , but bottled it.

LET'S NOT REMEMBER WE NEARLY BOTTLED IT AT THE CCS VS LECIESTER ON PENALTIES FFS, ATMOSPHERE SAVED US IMO!

hey guys, absolutely gutted about the result today, but hey we just have to move on and think about the next game and aim to finish 3rd. However, I disagree with sacking dave jones, look at Sheffield united they completely fell apart, they were favourities to go up at the start of the season just because they sacked their manager. Having a new manager may work, it may not work, don't think i'm willing to take the risk, thats my opinion however.
Mon May 02, 2011 9:14 pm
if we go up - stay
if we dont - go.
Mon May 02, 2011 9:15 pm
If Jones has to go then lets get Roberto Martinez, Swansea have being living on his achievements for the last three years.

I agree , Kermogant is a hero to me

Honestly something is wrong here. What if maybe just maybe the thing that is wrong is not the manager.
Suppose he goes and we get someone even worse.
Football has plenty of "great" managers being sacked or languishing in mid and low table postions.
Mon May 02, 2011 9:16 pm
We wont go up under Mr Jones, not a chance, get rid!
Mon May 02, 2011 9:18 pm
If we go up, yes.
Mon May 02, 2011 9:20 pm
Did the club give him notice on his rolling contract at the beginning of this season?
Mon May 02, 2011 9:22 pm
So why can he take Wolves up and not us?
Has he lost the ability?
Was it luck with Wolves? Doesn't luck "even itself out"?
Mon May 02, 2011 9:24 pm
i think its time to part company with DJ... he has done all he is capable of with the club, it will be
in best interests of both partys if he goes at end of season
Mon May 02, 2011 9:26 pm
the guy is a dinosaur,no loyallty in football,he got to go long over due and left it too late again...he got no man managment skills or personallity..he wouldnt motivate me so f**k knows how he gets us up for the playoffs is beyond me...he fails the big tests, the big games cos he is inept...norwich get back to back promotions and we,ve been pissing in the wind now for six years..we all new anything but top two was going to be a failure even dj so there we have it folks..
