WHAT WE LACKED THIS SEASON!

Simple.
1) Yet again Jones has not found a half decent left back, he went for Lee Naylor and Jlloyd Samuel, we all know what Naylor's like and Samuel, although a decent footballer is obviously lacking in match fitness as shown today, not having a half decent left back cost us massiely, many deccent/good left backs and full backs in the premiership we could have loaned/bought, Norwich have one, and so do QPR.
2) We don't have that creative spark in midfield which has been obvious all season. Notice the difference when we had Ramsey, obviously Rambo is a quality player and you can't expect to find another anything like him, but we needed someone in the mould of Taarabt/Hoolahan/Surman. Oli isn't creative enough. McPhail has lost his pace, the tempo of his game isn't quick enough to match Bellamy's pace. It's evident that Whitts also isn't up to the pace of playing at Central attacking midfield, and is much better suited at Left midfield where he has been getting a few goals recently.
Filling in these gaps certainly would have got us the points today, and I;m sure many more. I would have loved to see us sign determined passionate players as well.

Oh, and Dave Jones messed uo the subs today.
The lack of movement, Chops is the best at movement by a longs shot in the squad so why leave it so late Jonesy, McPhail lasting the full 90 minutes was a criminal offence.

we just didnt turn up on the day at all,same team has been playing very well of late with dave jones almost certain to get manager of the month for april,JLS was very poor today but was probably man of the match against preston,footballs just a very ,very strange game especially if your a city fan

Some good points.
McPhail given 9 out of 10 by some pundits v QPR?????? He took a bump second half in that game and was not in the game after that.
Today he hung around outside his own box and did nothing. Sorry Steve, good servant but 30 mins max per game to close out matches from the bench. First meaningful tackle by Koumas second half, must start at Burnley.
We've come off a good run but I can't take that Boro wanted it more than us.
Back 5 had nightmares and lost their 1 on 1 battles early on when it mattered.
We did not have midfield legs from the start and reverted to long balls very early on.
Very difficult to come back from 3 down after 14 mins.
Questions: How many of the side out there today would you have in your lifeboat? .......2/3
How many of the team would survive in the Premier League? ......... 3/4..... Is that the problem?
