The thing with Kev is, even if he fucks up, he never looks as if he's not trying.

I don't mind too much if players get beaten, I just hate it when they roll over and don't even try.

I thought they were both to blame, as for some players being free of blame - I think the 14 of them have been hammered on here already. The whole team was shite.

I agree with you regarding Kev mind, he had a nightmare first half. Gave a decent account of himself in the second half once he switched to full back though, albeit against a boro side content to sit back and defend their 3 goal lead.

I think McNaughton (who is normally one of, if not our best player) was on the piss until 6am this morning.

He did fcuk all (apart from cost us 2 goals) but when he made his only tackle of the game got his name sung. Our fans have been like it in my entire 25 years watching us play. Love one player and hate another regardless of contribution. Perhaps being in South Wales we've got too many kids brought up playing egg chasing coz I'd swear most have never played a game in their lives!

our best back four is quinn hudson keinan and kev and if that had been the line up today we might have not conceded those early goals as we were once again slaughtered in the left back position.
I might add he has still never replaced alexander with a keeper anywhere near the same quality.

My old man had his doubts about JLS and boy was he right. You simply cannot stand that far off a winger allowing him so much time to deliver a perfect cross. If there is one positive that came from this game it was that he has been found out and we won't be signing him next season should a miracle occur and we go up.

Yes McNaughton had a bad game and can share some of the blame today but come on he thoroughly deserved his player of the year accolade and can be excused the odd bad game. A shame it had to happen today of all days but lets be fair the other 10 players were also shite

All three goals came down the right (our left) - our left is defended by the guys you want in the trenches with you when the going gets tough - JLS and Dick Whittingham.

However, that said, McNaughton was at fault for all three, beaten for the header on the first and to the ball for the second and third.
