A Father/Daughter Dilema

Mon May 02, 2011 11:41 am

I have just found out that my 19 yr old Daughter is seeing a Swansea City player.
They have been friends for a number of years but are now an item.

I have always told both of my girls that they are NOT allowed to bring Jacks into my house, but I have met him quite a few times and he is a decent bloke for a Jack to be honest!
About 3 years ago my youngest brought a group of 8/9 friends home for a barbecue.
One of them had a Swansea shirt on.
I wouldn't let him in and made him sit on the bench out the front.
My Wife told me I was well out of order, but I stuck to my guns and wouldn't let him in.
I told him he could come in as long as he took his shirt off.
He said he'd go home and change which he did, so I let him in!

My eldest now wants to bring this bloke home to introduce him as her boyfriend.
What should I do??
I reckon I should disown her and throw her out on the street for bringing shame on the family. ;)
Your thoughts please!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Let him in Tie him to a chair and force him to watch "Twin Town" with a broken ankle...... and a Cardiff City top on, tell him your filming the whole thing........If he ever upsets you or your daughter in the future - bring out the movie! ;)

if your daughters serious, let her, but no talk of the jacks, or wearing of the shirts in your house. and a photo of him in a ccfc shirt must be taken and kept in the safe just incase it is ever needed.

A jack inside your daughter. If you hate the sound of that, you've answered your own question.

By the way I'm not trying to be crude or insulting to you or your daughter, I'm just posting the likely reality of the situation. at the end of the day it's better than bringing some jobless scrag head home.

It's only Swansea... they're harmless. Bless them.
