Reports that his body has been 'buried at sea'?????? erm... hang on. Every single
Al Q'aida feller killed has had his dead body shown by the Americans straight
away.
I was of the opinion that Bin Laden was dead years ago, and if he WASNT dead
it was cos the Yanks wanted to keep the bogyman alive, and would have known
where he was. The World is too small a place nowadays. If a superpower like
America wanted someone found... he'd be found!!!!

And now his body has been already Buried at sea ? come on ! no trace of him so no DNA , they will say they buried him at seas cos there will be no grave to make him a Martyr ,and know where for his follower to go to worship him I bet you.
This was done all very fast to me .

So why didn't the CIA arrest him when they went to visit him in hospital in Dubi ?
There is still a lot of unanswered questions ,from the Bush era, and it was Bin Ladens family that bailed out the Bush family in a big money deal, and that was tried to be hushed up.
Many people died as we all know in 911 ,but many unanswered questions and loose end still remain, and many politicians in the USA still try to fined the really answer.

They should have done it old skool, taken his body back to the States, quartered him and put parts of his body in the four corners of the States as a message to those who consider following his lead... might deemed unacceptable these days mind!

They've reportedly taken video footage and photos of his body!
They may well have taken DNA samples (hair, saliva etc.) as well, but if they'd left his body in situ, the Taliban or Al Qaeda would have used his body and had a big memorial service in his honour!
They've done the right thing IMO and the only thing that I can criticise them for, is that they appear, not to have razed his sanctuary to the ground!
This will probably be used now, as a crusade type memorial location, for his nutter followers!

i was thinking along the same lines of you lot until i saw this article
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/05/ ... ?tag=stackit says that because he is a muslim he has to have his body buried within 24 hours according to strict traditions.
also here is apparently a picture of his dead body (dont look if you are squeamish)
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-storie ... -23101910/but still it does seem all too convenient and have heard a couple saying that this is only to improve obama's popularity and get him 4 more years

i agree. Everything is scripted these days. Surely the CIA woul have information on their ex employees? (for anyone who didnt know Bin Laden was in the CIA), we have much better technology than a bunch of terrorists? Hmm with propaganda from the media then big events like this....I dunno..

I spoke to my lad earlier in Afghan, he said he heard they'd done biometric
testing etc on the body (whatever that is).. I said the only thing they wont test that
body for is ICE. Cos its been in a freezer for 5 years

Haha, that photo is just something some mentalist on the Internet has made, probably years before today. Middle Eastern TV and media are notoriously clueless with their sources, hence them broadcasting that picture. Notice that no legitimate Western news agencies have used that picture.
But it's only natural that people have concerns about the authenticity about this kind of stuff, whether it seems well founded or just a load of conspiracy rubbish. It's a custom in Islamic culture that a body is buried within 24 hours of death, so keeping with traditions and respecting a dead person's right in that religion (Despite all the disgraceful acts he's been responsible for) is probably a wise move from the US, and something I'm sure they were planning for in the event that they were able to take him alive/take his body. By acting in a respectful way rather than just sticking him on a pike outside the White House, an increase in the threat of reprisal attacks has been avoided. Sure there's always gonna be a chance of revenge attacks, but imagine how much worse it would have been if the US paraded his body around. Also the burial at sea was apparently so that his grave could not become a site of martyrdom, sort of similar to the burial of Che Guevara, where they cut up his body and buried it in several locations. Of course that didn't really work, but it helped slightly. I think the burial at sea is another step that has been taken to limit the inevitable backlash coming from Bin Laden supporters.
