What a mess, why have they left it so late.

I think that they are going to deduct points and the delay was in the hope that qpr would finish lower down the league and a points deduction woudn,t cause as much trouble as it will now.

Are the Sun deliberately stirring this case to taint it, so as to not allow a fair hearing? Thus, having the opposite effect they are predicting. This gets murkier everyday!
But one thing is clear, we need to win 2 matches
Cmon City!

A points deduction wont cause any disruption at all if its 30 points because then QPR will be out of the play offs

Couple of interesting things here the Sun is carrying aquotation from Mr Paladini I thought QPR had an agreement with the FA not to comment on this matter.
Also if the FL has sent out a letter to clubs likely to be involved in the playoffs in hasn't stopped Norwich City posting details of ticket sales, should they end up in the playoffs.
This is all just the start of the frenzy of speculation which will surround this story this week.

The IRC hearing is not subject sub-judice (that only applies to criminal, civil or employment tribunals and not professional internal conduct hearings).
However, both sides would be expected to keep quite until it was concluded, but anything that is printed in the SUN would have no affect whatsoever.

Yea he seems to be saying that any cheating was done in 'good faith'

Yes, any cheating was done accidently in good faith and we have Billionaire backers to confirm this.
I thaught the days of Arthur Daly were long gone.

With all this talk of moving the playoffs, I'm starting to think that they will get points off.
The thing is, we still have to win today to ensure we get third as a minimum, or it won't make any difference to us.

I wonder if Bin Laden was one of the billionaire backers now they appear to be commenting and making silly claims.

As far as an appeal to the IRC's outcome, according to the FA Rules and Regulations handbook, QPR will have until 12 noon 4 days after the hearing is over (10th May) to put in any appeal, and then the IRC/FA will have a further 48hrs to review and respond. (12th May) [i think there also has to be special circustances for an appeal to an IRC decision anyway] correct me if i am wrong?
The Very first tie of the first play off semi final is on the 12th May 7.45pm KO........
Coincedence?
Mon May 02, 2011 11:34 am
i though you could only appeal if new evidence comes to light which was not originally put forward in the first case,or against a very heavy punisment.
