remember her well with her braces on her teeth(for the youngsters on here,one of the first punk bands with a female singer)died at 53 from cancer.sad news

Saw X-Ray Specs several times, they were a great band with good songs like "Identity" "The Day the World Turned Day-Glo" and "Germ Free Adolescents"
Real shame about Ploy she was a right nutter. RIP

Great band, sad to here of her death, also another great punk female singer "Arri Up" of the Slits died a couple of months ago

didn't x-ray specs get banned from the top rank because they failed to turn up 3 or 4 times R.I.P Poly

Polly and ari....both died from Breast Cancer.
