Wrexham would probably answer by saying there is no historical connection between Rorke's Drift and the song MOH, it was simply a scene contrived for the film Zulu.
Further Harlech Castle is in North Wales and apparently the song originated from a medieval siege there in the 1400’s.
That said we thought of it first and it is associated more with Cardiff City than any other Welsh club.

I was reliably informed the last time this subject came up that SWB didn't move to Brecon until 2 years after the Battle of Rorke’s Drift and the Regiment was full of Brummie's as well as Welshmen.
But even if they had been based in Brecon, they never sung MOH towards 4,000 Looney Zulu warriors, which is a shame.

Actually I think you will be surprised at how many fans do know the words of MOH (may be a pole would confirm this?)
You can definately hear the sound of fans singing above the version Ali plays pre-match, which wasn't the case not so long ago. The problem might actually be how to start off a singing version of MOH during match time, simply because it hasn't been done before and the humming version is well established.
