It's always handy to do some reserch for example what tax area do they cover along with the name of the head man etc.

cheers havnt been to an interview for around 5 years now and all work i did before hand bears no relevance to what type of work i am applying for today as i was basically manual labour. finished 3yrs in college last year which came to nothing as i cant even get a job in the industry i studied for been looking since the end of last summer and this is my first interview a bit nervous.

No cafeteria, no hairdresser. Only 'onsite' shop is an overpriced sandwich / coffee shop which is more expensive than Marks & Spencer and Starbucks which are 250 yards away, parking is a nightmare although if you're working til 10 I assume you'll be starting at 5 so not gonna be an issue.
Trust me, I've worked there for 22 years

Civil Service interviews aren't heavy going. Every question will relate to whatever you put on your application form. There won't be any hypothetical questions sprung on you that you could never revise for. Just make sure you talk about anything that you wrote on the application.
Good Luck. You'll need it if you want to work for those idiots and leave your personality at home if you get the job or you might scare them.

Hmmm I retired from there about 20 yrs ago. Don't tell me they sold off some of the car park. It was always a pleasure knowing I wouldn't have to worry about finding a parking space.
