I'm not sure anyone noticed this or if I saw it wrong but when Bellamy got subbed off everyone was chanting for him to do the ayatollah and he didn't. He then looked over to the Canton Stand and looked as if he made a gesture that seemed like he was saying 'f**k off' as he threw his arm towards us.
Like I said, I might have seen it incorrectly but just wondered if anyone else noticed and if there was any reason for it?

I didn't see the arm gesture, although I noticed a couple of players avoided the ayatollah today.
Fair play thou JLS didn't need much encouragement!

I also loved the fact Keinan did it after scoring... subtly though. Fair play given his background. He didn't do it when asked afterwards which was fair enough.

It was as he was subbed off. Like I said, not sure I saw it correct but it was an arm gesture as if he was saying 'whatever, f**k off' and thought maybe he was reacting to the criticism the players have had, maybe a fan shouted something to him during the game or something?

Hahaha, well considering the strength of the weed someone smashes up on the 60th minute every home game I wouldn't be surprised if I've gained paranoia through passive intake!
Maybe it was a thumbs up Blue Army. No idea! Trying to see if anyone else knows what it was. It was some kind of gesture and he might have done it in an angry manner because he was frustrated at being subbed off.

ah fair enough, i didn't see anything but him doing the ayatollah, wasn't paying much attention. maybe some of the other members may have picked up on it. he played well today

It was definately a thumbs up to the canton, and he did not do the ayatollah at the end because he was a little bit pissed off
with Jones' decision to take him off as he was making inroads on their defence and I do believe if he had stayed on we could
have got 6 with none against. And I am going to say it as the "Dave Jones out" subject was blocked DAVE JONES OUT! I can get my season ticket then

In all fairness to Jones I think it was a wise decision. We want as many of our best players fit and 100% for as many games as possible. How sick would you have felt if Bellamy had pulled up injured in the 75th minute? The game was safe so I don't blame Jones for subbing off Bellamy and Bothroyd.

Bellamy was 100% today AGAIN, knowing what his temprement is like I'm not suprised he snubbed the crowd, just pissed off with being taken off it was nothing personal or disrepective, just frustration. CB has more passion than any other player in our side I will say that

Definitely a thumbs up - I saw it clearly. Agree with Neath Bluebird regarding him not doing the ayatollah - obviously not that pleased to be coming off - which is exactly the right attitude

It was a thumbs up.

didn't see him make a gesture to the canton but he didn't look happy when he came off

Why are some people so hell bent thinking bellamy does negative things.THE GUY GIVES 100%FFS

We could only have dreamed about a player of bellamys quality coming to us.Yet some peeps think hes superman one man does not make a team
Sat Apr 02, 2011 9:19 pm
As he got to the touchline he briefly clapped the crowd with his hands above his head. I believe he then sat down and had a little paddy at being substituted - which I absolutely loved!
Its that type of heart, passion and commitment that we want in our team.
Craig is a smart guy, he will know the decision was a good one, just frustrating at the time for him as he was playing so well.
