I think its going to be a little harder than we think now he has lost his strike partner in chops, as they use to work well off each other. But if we are going to have any kind of chance to bounce back, he has to bounce back also, and try link up with bellers.

i just mean he looked uninterested and i think bloody elf would stand up more than jay on times. i would love to see parkin have a bash but jay is the golden boi....

I have confidence he will pick his form up, well he needs too!

its really hard to say,id love to say he can but the way hes been lying on the floor and his general body language suggest hes happy to leave when out of contract, its quite clear to anyone hes not giving his all for the city cause
im really disappointed with jay, early in the season he was fantastic not just the goals but his all round play, even after his cap and injury i still believed in him especially when he said he never planned to leave and considered himself a cardiff boy.last few games as we know the commitment on the pitch as not been there.
hopefully a goal or two against derby will start a run of form, come on jay we need you especially with chops out

I think we would all love to see the beast do good, BUT! sorry to say ,I just dont think he got what it takes. Hes not got the ball control that jay has , so speed and control just dont fit with him ,and at this time thats what we need.

alot of people don't rate parkin but least he does number 9 job holds the ball up pushes defense back not like jay fall down see if his toe nails are not broken. does my head in.

O yes I understand that , but I just dont think he has the ability to twist and turn and get a shot off and his passing isnt that great also , but he is all we got so we will have to use him I guess. Also if jay do go down, and has to miss a few games we are really going to be in the crap. As we dont have the kind of quality or options to swop things about that much. We will just have to all pray a little more and harder

your right there, but what pisses me off bout jay is that hes very capable of winning headers, pushing defences back etc,he was doing it fantastically well at the start of the season, someone needs to light a fire under the boy although he shouldnt need motivating the premiership is so close u know

What this lad said. He showed signs of it recently but got subbed off when he looked like turning the corner. All he needs is a decent goal or assist.

he got his 'comeback goal ' against watford( and man of the match ) but hes gone downhill from there, hope youre right though hes a top player when on form

Goal against Derby will sort him out
Thu Mar 31, 2011 4:03 pm
I think the international break would have done him good, having seen himself left out of the last England friendly with an England reserve side. Time to knuckle down Jay and find your form.
Thu Mar 31, 2011 4:56 pm
I dont think it was Jay that came back from international duty,
I think they send a duplicate imposter from JLS!!!
PS> good to see you back Rob!

The fact that Jay will be lacking Chopra as his main strike partner will I hope spark off a new determination and a return to the kind of form that we will need to get us up. I really hope so because he is still the pivot of the side, and his injury cost us the Play Off Final.

Jay has not been up to form for a long time, Id like to see Parking and Bellers up front please Mr Jones. Whats happend to the most feared attacking team in the league!?

Well if your going by that, Jay has only had one maybe 2 good seasons in is whole footballing life. Jay will never be as good as he was last season/1st half this season (no matter who he plays for)

Rob its more than that, Carl will explain on Sunday.
But with the criticism Jay has received of late, Surely this will have told him to buck his ideas up and get back to what he knows best being CLASS ON THE PITCH

I seen Jay play many times when he was with Wolves, and he has been better for us than he was at Wolves.
Don't get me wrong he had his good times there but he was never consistent, and he always looked like there was more there but for some unknown reason he never seam to show his all.
Jay is a great player but he some times seam to take the easy way out,and falling over is just way of and turning off is the other.
I guess it a little like ANNIS, he calls for a Ninian big breakfast ,but when it comes he just cant take the pressure of finishing it
