I think not.
Brendan Rodgers will have learned from that defeat and would run rings
round Dave Jones both tactically and motivationally (if thats a real word)

If we can keep Sinclair quiet then yes

I dont think Rogers is that great tactically either tbh.
If we dont get second I struggle to see us going up, its a lottery.

Not one of the jacks previous managers were good imo, just the players were decent enough to get to where they are.

Let's be honest, we only beat Swansea because we had Rambo running the midfield. With him missing, I would struggle to see us beating them.
Wed Mar 30, 2011 6:19 pm
we would never beat them over 2 legs! one off game yes! .... so lets hope its the final
Wed Mar 30, 2011 6:39 pm
I defo think they would be up for it more than us.But im a gonna say if our players keep their bottle then yes we can beat them

Keep the faith lads and lasses

I love the optimism of Cardiff City fans.
Swansea are incredible aren't they? The Barca/Arsenal/AC Milan 1989/Brazil 1970/Hungary 1953 of the championship and Brendan Rodgers has the tactical nous of Jose Mourinho/Alex Ferguson and Enzo Bearzot all rolled into one
Amazing how this time last year the'football experts'within the media and many Cardiff were saying the same thing about Paulo Sousa and his wonderful Swans. They're a little bit more consistent this season, and with the run-in they've got, if they go up it'll be fully deserved, but i'm confident enough that just like Sousa, Brendan Rodgers'inexperience will expose itself during the run-in

The beating of Swansea don't interest me, at the moment my only concern is how we will cope without Hudson and Chopra, for me they are two big losses.....Our midfield in these last games need to stand up and be counted also, and fight for the cause, if we can do this, we'll beat anybody.....I'm just hoping we can be consistant in this run in, cos if we're not, we're fucked.

We can beat anyone on our day. We have proved that by having the best record against the top 7 or 8 teams? we've done it in the league, and we've beaten them at home last season, and away this season. As long as we can play well away from home, Im sure we'll have the atmosphere at Home in a night game against our greatest rivals, when we tend to play better.
Personally I dont think it will come to this - Im hoping and confident we will go on a good run of games now, and pinch second spot with around 20 of the 24 pts available. We have gone on 7,8,9 & 10 game unbeaten runs, and we can do it again, When it counts most.
Keep the Faith.

Fingers crossed Hudson will be back for the tail end of the season. Getting Oly back fit again is huge. Losing him during the last month was almost as bad as Ramsey going back. The midfield is imbalanced with Whittingham and McPhail together in the middle

Of course we would beat them we learned more from the first game and stuffed them away, stop them playing out from the back and they are crap Derby showed that also and so will other teams in the run in!!!!
We will finish 2nd and Norwich will stuff them in the league and the playoffs !!!
