Is There a Tougher area ?

Than Bermondsey ? I've not done as many grounds on here as some but 'The Wall' is definately one of the 'Toughest' areas to house a football club.

Any competitors ?

i've yet to meet a scarier bunch than the barnsley lot i had to encounter in 1983 ! that whole estate consisted of every loon in south yorkshire around that time it seemed . still have sleepless nights of walking way alive till this day -lol

Heath Town in Wolves is awful. I lived near there in early 90s. Horrendous place-makes Townhill look like Beverley Hills.

Personally the maddest gaff's I've found have been, Millwall (old den) Leeds, Chesterfield & funny enough had a right naughty one at Port Vale a few years back where it got a bit nail biting

Yeah Chesterfield gave us a good go back in the day, port vale (stoke) all inustrial areas and docks.

Rovers and bohs still go at it.

I was at a house party one night outside St pats ground and there was a running gun battle in the street between a few lads.
didn't seem real at the time but the next day someone walked into the local pub wering a crash helmet and popped a few shells into this chap.
the pub was packed but no one saw a thing.

i like the fact that no one grasses here....unlike some places.

There's quite a bit ogf gang warfare but go out on a normal sat night and there's hardly any hassle whatsoever.

it seems u cross the line with your lifestyle you're fair game for a bullet....don't cross the line then no one will bother you.

if you grass....both sides will kill you...the first that can get to you./

Not surprised. Went over for a visit last month & Wayne Dundon had just landed back in town, the Garda presence was mad they are wary of these guys big time.

I don't know but I do know that the garda went to ya mans mother and told her they wanted to put her under garda protection because a rival of her son's was gonna shoot her.
You see, they couldn't find him, he was hiding somewhere abroad, so they thought if they killed her then he would come back to her funeral and then they could get him.
A sick scenario because they all grew up and went to school together.

Finglas would give Moyross and Southill a better run for the money. The amount of unreported crime that goes on there is ubelievable.........but that's smack and coke for you

Sure Dunne was banging the birds of half the fella's in the gang & taking all round libertys it was always gonna happen, same for Paddy Doyle run but you can't hide.
