Millwall be careful tomorrow

Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:10 pm

Those going by coach or train will be fine tomorrow the police will escort us in and out the ground, there is a new link from the tube straight in the ground now i believe so shouldn't have any issues.

Those going in cars keep your colours out of sight and watch where you park the car. my advice would be to meet up with the train lot at paddington if you can and come across with them. The locals don't mind who they hit many of them don't even bother with the football they just want a scrap. The majority of millwall supporters are decent people, but there are a small element with them as well, but it's the locals of Bermondsy are the ones they don't care about banning orders they can't afford to watch football anyway, they will have a go even if the police are about. remember this game will be heavily policed with loads of cameras the lads at chelsea who defended themselves after being attack some of them now find themselves in jail, it seems if you are a football supporter your right to defend yourself does not apply you are just a hooligan, so watch how far you actually defend yourself.

My advice do not park your car near the ground but away and tube it in, also avoid London bridge Tube station unless you are in a police escort they will have a mob waiting there, and the Elephant and castle area they will also have a mob there.

I've not seen much trouble there for years but we have been bubbled on most occasions, we did have an air rifle fired at us at evening game outside the ground for a Auto Windsheild daf johnston paint trophy fixture back in the late 90s.

I`m bussing it in thankfully, :ayatollah:

To be fair Millwall will be absolutely no where near London Bridge, hottest place in South London for cctv & OB so that would actually be your safest bet if your not looking for it. All pubs were ram jammed the QPR game with our fans & no Wall whatsoever.

Train people will be escorted in as will the coaches but anyone on foot Ilderton Rd is by the ground (long road that leads down from South Bermondsey station) and that is where you will get problems as this is where they drink near to the ground & where the locals like to 'congregate'.

Obviously if you are looking for it plenty will oblige

Stay safe chaps & good luck :ayatollah:

Its a busy shopping area mate with Borough market always packed on a Saturday with shoppers Wall just do not venture there, they are game but the majority are not stupid. As I say they were out for our blood this yr & were fuming loads of QPR went to LB as they wouldn't go there.

Listen the Honest Truth, Cardiff are not going to Millwall like they use to. After the jailing of Cardiff fans for Chelsea and the OB still searching for more and more trials to come, most of the lads are not even going. I have now been to Millwall v Cardiff at least 7 times over the years either at the Old/New Den :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I'd be the first to say mate it's just not worth it any more. People getting 5-6 years for what? A row at football. :?:

As your pal said though them lot down there don't care if your with your little kid they will stick one on you. Nasty bastards.

f*cking hell, calm down boys.
Yeah it's a bit rough but it ain't as bad as some of you are making it out to be. Sounds worse than Baghdad the way it's being portrayed here
I live a short walk from the ground and yes people need to be careful and keep a lower profile than usual if not looking for trouble but no need to shit yourselves. Your all making my 'manor' sound like a shithole ( it mostly is  but.... )
And London Bridge is safe these days, yuppy bars for city workers there now and with loads of plod as Stan said.
To be honest this thread just reminds me of what people used to say about visiting Canton on match day! :ayatollah:
Just stay smart, hide your colours, I don't think many Cardiff lads will be on this with bans etc and recent bullshit and most Millwall lads will know this, it will just be some of the pikey cunts having a go and I've seen plenty of them types in Cardiff
Anyway I'm walking there and hopefully walking back with 3 points, and hiding my smile till I meet my Wall mates and can safely take the piss without them pikey cunts being about.
Anyway have a safe trip Bluebirds and welcome to 'bandit cuntry' boyos. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

A bit concerned that Spurs are playing the Hammers at the moment in North London so that means both of their supporters will be wandering around after their game
