Message to Nathan Walker about the whole DJ debate

just commented on your topic mate, and like i said, absolutely spot on in every single word you said...
i just wish more fans would realise that whether they like DJ or not, the way they go about getting on his back is doing more damage to our promotion hopes than they seem to think he is, because of the negativity it causes!
personally, i think DJ has done absolute wonders for this club over the years, i really believe that with the financial situation weve been in up until this year, we'd have probably gone down under another manager, and whether or not we do fall short of promotion under him this year, time will only tell, but if we do, i think everyone has partly got themselves to blame im sorry to say...
im not saying we dont have a squad capable of promotion this season, that should be getting promoted... BUT that never means anything is guaranteed, and were right in the mix anyway! its far from decided that were not going to go up...
The booing of Jay Bothroyd too, our top scorer, just because he's hit a bad run of form, is ridiculous... he's so clearly the type of player that needs encouragement and not criticism from the fans in order to improve his form... and that's what we all want, right?
Listen.... everybody is entitled to their opinion right, i'm not even claiming to be right/wrong that i think Jones should stay and be backed this season because its just an opinion at the end of the day and only time will tell if im right or wrong... BUT, please, im begging every fan that reads this to just put your hate for Jones behind you for 9 games and get behind the club, at games and on this forum because its what the club needs!
I just dont know what else to say really, im not posting this topic because i want to cause a massive debate with people having a go at me for being a Jones fan,
and im not asking anybody to think that Jones is a good manager like i do and that he is capable of getting promotion.... just support him in numbers, and give him every chance to do so!!!!!
cmon guys, we can still get promotion this year but everyone has gotta believe that and start backing the team, let's just prove that we are united as a club, and HOPE all together that we can actually still make it this year, and play our part as fans, because i think we can!!!!

Scott your loyalty and optimism are to be applauded but I feel they maybe misguided! All the same I respect your opinion but personally feel jones has gone stale and is now out of his death! With him at the helm I can't see us doing anything and the sooner he leaves the better! I actually think we will win on Saturday but deep down know we will bottle it epically at the end of the season

if you dont like him and dont wana get behind him then youre entitled to your opinion (everyone may well be right) but the slump at the moment that everyone says DJ has caused is just being made 100x worse by our negativity as a club

It has all been said before, this 'support Jay' stuff, we have been supporting him. What do we have to show for it.
As for Jones, it's just the same rhetoric over and over again. On top of that, a blatant disregard for the facts and evidence, such as his manegerial record, his record in the last 23 games this season, the list goes on and on.
