MILLIWALL - Might as well be a bubble not sure why we moan .

Wed Mar 16, 2011 10:31 am

No bubble for Milliwall Saturday but effectively it is as all coaches have to meet at a VT point !!!!!!Then shipped into the ground by 1330.................takes away all the enjoyment of a good football day out in London or any freedom or hassle.

We're all allowed to go to the game with no restrictions for once, however I hear over 1,300 going on coaches..................so lets not moan about bubbles in the near future as it appears we ain't that brothered anyway.

Guess it will only be 500 or so running the gaunlet from Paddington to Milliwall however i'd much rather a good day out In London than being stuck on a bus being messed around by the met.............. ( However the train mob will still be greeted by the met I know)

1999-2000 - we took 900 on the train best mob of Cardiff iv'e ever seen....................................!!!!

Shame so many choosing bus options!

I know what your saying, I wish I just booked a train instead of on a coach (at which time I was under the opinion we had no restrictions). So much for a day out at the football in london. More a coach trip to nowhere with a football match in the middle!

The problem is the cost of the train if you dont book it early enough i would have gone on the train but you never know with games like these if they will move the day and i priced the trains last week and it was £48   and surley aint going to be paying that :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

When it comes to games in London if you can't afford the train, it's all about a Megabus there and local train or tube to the game :ayatollah:

£4 single I think now (rip off), will be half that or less if you get a oyster card (which is free but you have to put a few quid down as deposit - which you get back when or if you return your card).

Dont know if it still applies but i think if you travel in groups of 6 or more on the tubes you can get a block booked ticket which works out cheaper. Failing that get to paddington with all the other lads and the police will ensure its free by keeping you all together and going through all the ticket collectors.
