"I've run out of ideas"
Said Cardiff manager Dave Jones after todays disappointing capitulation against league
strugglers Barnsley.
"The board have given me the players I wanted and needed for this promotion push.
We have a squad the envy of the Division, but for whatever reason, I cannot get this
group of players to gel. We were desperately poor today. Perhaps the urgency is lacking,
perhaps the concentration levels arent right, perhaps the lads lack motivation? All these
factors come into it, and all the lads have to take a good look at themselves. But at the
end of the day, the buck stops with the guy who picks the team and chooses the tactics.
That guy is me. Perhaps im not the man to take this club forward.
