Any dog experts on here ?

Tue Mar 08, 2011 9:49 am

My dog who is shit scared of fire works ETC recently there has been a faint popping noise outside since then he wont go outside for his walks. I have taken him elsewhere yesterday took him somewhere completely different and there was a building site in the distance where there was hammering ETC. My dog was shaking like a leaf and only wanted to go back to the car. So i took him to the middle of nowhere no sounds or anything. I got about 100 yards from the Car then it was tail down and shaking and only wanted to go back to the Car.
Any help would be appreciated oh he is a Staffy Cross a shit scared one

Try one of those DAP collars or "air freshener" type dispensers. They're quite pricey but worked a treat with our stressed out Golden Retriever.

My staff is the same,I once had to carry him 2 miles home(24kg) cos the fireworks started & he wouldn't budge. Try this place ,I've been using this company for everything ,worming tablets & frontline are way cheaper than The vets

Sounds like a case for Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer. He trains people and rehabilitates dogs!
