Following cardiff city for over 35 years should now have me battle hardend against dissapointments such as last night, the fact that i spent most of the night feeling sick tells it,s own story. To be quite honest there wasn,t much wrong with the first hour, we could well have been 2 or 3 up if it wasn,t for a keeper who was having a "game of the season" and a bit more luck / run of the ball. The dissallowed goal was very harsh, if that had been allowed the flood gates would have opened. What i can,t understand is that it was quite clear ipswich changed their tactics at the start of the 2nd half, why didn,t dj react to this?? it is also something like 8 wins in 125 games with dj as manager that we have won from being a goal down, at any level of football that it quite shocking. Seeing most of the players heads drop after we went 1 down was also worrying, if they can not be up for the fight at this stage......The pitch is killing us, our forwards like the one touch approach when we attack, last night they were having to take two or three touches to be in control of the ball, i don,t care what anybody says having rugby scrums on that pitch every other week is not helping the cause. Today was certainly a lost oppotunity with all our rivals droping points, (apart from qpr who are now just about there) but if we are looking for any crumbs of comfort imagine if they had all won!!! no ground gained today but none lost either, this my fellow bluebirds is going right down to the wire!!!!!
