I've always supported him as I believe that he's built a fantastic squad under difficult circumstances but I am starting to question his ability to motivate them. J's attitude towards the fans is shite. In order to properly get the players to perform they have to to be dedicated to the badge, He isn't. He's dedicated to the money and his own prospects and that to me seems to come across in the team. The reason Alex fergusen is so successful is that he is 100% man utd and his players have to be also. DJ doesn't instill that in his team IMO and they susequently don't go the extra mile that is required.

Regarding Sir Alex just look how he handled his big starts when they got too big for their own boots. He soon dropped them like Rooney and Nistelrooy. Can you see Jones doing that to Bothroyd.
