Ive said for the last 3 yrs Ian Holloway or Neil Warnock

Holloway has always worked wonders with small clubs. He went to Leicester and didn't cope. Doubt he could cope with us

Neil Warnock would be a smarter choice, has done well at bigger clubs, e.g. Sheffield United and now QPR.

When QPR appointed Warnock last season he was interviewed by us, Cardiff City World, after our 1-0 win at their place. He said then make sure we go up that season becuase next season, this season now, will be different for them. Then I knew QPR would be the team to win the league. Something about having a manager like him gives you the confidence.

Earns the total respect of the players. Pal of mine works at the training ground and he said every player including reserves & those not involved have nothing but good things to say about him as he makes them ALL feel a part of things. That's vital.

No bullshit & does what he says he'll do, for example Matt Connolly & Kaspers Gorkks who were responsible for keeping 17 clean sheets in 30 odd games had 2 bad games & bosh he dropped the pair of them for Shittu & Fitz Hall. Not afraid to make such bold decisions and that's what makes him stand out.

i've said the same from the start......Warnock is class, in this division......but he has proved he cant cope in the PL. DJ plays PL style of football and i believe if we went up he would do a great job for us, i dont however think he is best suited to the championship mentality of football.

He's never been backed financially in the PL. Judge him next season (hopefully) when he has funds.

It's no coincidence he has stated this is the best ever squad he has worked with & that he's never been happier considering our owners have backed him with regards to getting him the players HE wanted.

It's been the poorest Championship for years, I'm just gutted that we haven't been able to take advantage of that.

Totally agree with you mate, and you've done that better than the rest. I just meant that in recent years we've had teams like Sunderland, Reading and Newcastle romping it and I don't think you are on that scale. You're still top though!

PTB has a very strong point there.

This season there is no Wolverampton, Birmingham, West Brom or Newcastle, teams that would be strong favourites to run away with the league. Take into account teams that were in league one not long away now chasing an auto or play off spot like Norwich, Swansea, Leeds, Leicester.....just goes to show how weak the league is.
