DAVE JONES RECIEVES ABUSE

Did anybody notice when Ipswich scored their second goal....something happened behind dave jones in the crowd....him and terry both had to turn around to the crowd even when the game was in play....some fans were shouting alot of abuse apparently and loads were walking out...

My mate was in the "posh seats" tonight and it was all going off up there, a few blokes got kicked out for losing the plot and some were leaning over to give Dave Jones loads of abuse, apparently he gave some back too!

It's the fans who walked out that have the problem and I note yet again many did. Can't blame the kids school nights for this one. They may as well ask for their season ticket money back for next year, assuming they've already paid....

Too many 'plastics' in the stands at the moment who simply don't understand what a tough league we are in and that Dave Jones is as good as there is out there at the moment. He makes mistakes (show me a team that hasn't dropped ANY points this season) and sometimes his team let him down....

But, for Pete's sake, get behind the bloody manager and the team until the iconic obese lady gets her dulcet tones onto the big stage to either confirm or deny us a place at the top table!!

Annis seriously now i think most of us would have done the same. this is the same man who has taken us from relegation favourites to one of the promotion favourites. it NEVER seems to be good enough for the so called fans of this club. QPR - their fans weren't going nuts because they know Warnock can get his team back on track, hence their current league position. And their defeats haven't exactly been plentiful.

Forest - that one answers itself, of course they weren't slating their manager after that record! I can't recall us having anything remotely like that this season, or any time under Jones.

We have been down this rout about DJ many times and I just dont buy into it from the pro Jones brigade.

We got to a FA cup final, easiest route any finalist team have had. We are a point of an auto place but this league is the weakest it has been in the 6 years DJ has been with us and adding to that we have the strongest squad in the division. Sorry but how much easier can we make it for him.

I dont believe in giving DJ abouse, especially during a game or after it. However the guy does make it difficult for placid guys like me not to have a go at him with his somewhat stubborn character towardss us fans and the club.

They were not part time supporters at all, some were life members of the premier club. I couldnt hear what was being said , but Jones reacted big time and gave them a verbal volley a couple of times as he snapped and lost it.

Fair enough DJ i say, BUT no need to then have ODD JOB go on the radio and have those fan slung out!!
