Just had a phone call from the press room at CCFC....Dave Jones has refused to give an interview after the match.
Has left Terry Burton to sort out "what went on with todays performance"
What is going on at this important time of the season...When we should all stick together !!!

Glammy we all saw the same game,we could have been 4-0 up before they scored..Not DJ fault.
My question is why did he have to storm off and leave someone else to answer the questions??
We were unlucky but what he did is wrong...All it would have taken is for him to say on any other day we would have won ,if it wasn't for their keeper.

By all accounts Yes mate.
If we were poor tonight i could understand, but i think the ones at the ground, who were having a go at him, will have more to say.

i understand his frustration
how many times should we have scored?
and we lost it
its hard to take for anyone but for the manager it is alot worse
maybe the players wil have one hell of a kick up the backsides for tuesday

Looks like some of the players have said the same comments as i posted earlier on...About how on any other day we would have won.
Lets hope this is the kick up the backside they need for Tuesday.
I Will be interested to see if the Managers of Forest and the jacks gave intervies after they Lost today.

Brendan did. But then why wouldn't he?

The game is for 90 mins not 45. Its go good saying we were the best team first half. Over the 90 mins they scored two we scored nil. Thats all that matters. Ask Man Utd what happened tuesday

Yes, but we had way more chances today than Man Utd did Tuesday. Pointless comparing us with them !
Sat Mar 05, 2011 8:42 pm

Yes but they were one up half time we wasn't. They controlled the first half like us then went on to lose because of their second half performance like us

Good point Ackers with the Man u..ref.
It seems to me now that if we do not score 1st...Thats it for the 3pts.
My main point is..the game would have been different being 2-3-4-NIL Up by HT. (UNLESS ITS PETERBORO)
DJ would have had an easy interview. We did play well for 45mins,and had more shots on target.
So why not come out and talk, how unlucky we were not to be infront, and we still belive we can go up!!
Sat Mar 05, 2011 8:53 pm
perhaps he was in a hurry to read this mb..
Sat Mar 05, 2011 8:57 pm
I agree Top cat if we had scored in the first half we could have gone on and won 3 or 4 nil. But we didn't so we should have come out second half all guns blazing trying to get that first goal. We all know we cant come back from going behind (even the players). Also I agree the ref was shocking with some of his decisions, anyone would think that they dont want us in the top flight

Lets get one thing straight, when i got a call about the above i posted,i fealt upset that DJ did not come out and talked to the press.
DJ could have talked about how many chances we made-How well their keeper played-Shots on target we had to them etc etc..
All he had to do is answer a couple of questions and end with "i have to go and support Chops in London etc"..to end the interview.
As someone who has posted All Things Cardiff City on Betfair for the last 8 years,i have only disagreed with DJ twice in that time....Unlike some forums where Twice in 10mins is not unusual.
Along with the fact that i do not have to use 4 letter words to make my point...Maybe its the way some of us have been brought up.
DJ has given us the best striker i have seen, since i saw my 1st city game in the mid 70's..in CHOPS

Martinez lost 6or7 nil Away to Tottenham,as Wigan manager and came out done the interview.
Said they were out played etc and Not in the position we are in at the moment...Even if it was Prem' League.
The point is he felt for the fans who were there...And those fans got a refund from the club.
This is NOT we want our money back thread, but show some care or give out the message we are still in this.
As for Evertons Assastant Manager given the post match interview, when im not in work my assastant does the talking.
Forest - Norwich - Jacks - ALL did not win but their Managers came out and spoke to the press.

i dont blame him
can you imagine the questions he'd be bombarded with, and if i was him i'd be fuming that i lost
and reporters are twisting bastards
dont blame him for storming out, maybe it shows abit of emotion by DJ.
and fingers crossed he'll have a right go at them ready for tuesday

I wouldn't waste my time for some of the media or fans either !

Would he be asked questions that might make him have to face the truth?
Like, why did you swap JET and Chopra when it was working fine as it was?
Why did you give Jimmy Bullard a licence to boss in the second half?
Why did you keep Parkin on the bench for so long?
Why was your 'genius' move to switch to 4-4-2 which just made us even more predictable than we already were?
Yeah, I can see why he might not want to answer those questions.
