Where has Bellamy' pace gone

Sat Mar 05, 2011 7:25 pm

Last few games he has been no better than an average championship player.
When he came here first he had pace to burn.
Now teams have him sussed.

I was hoping Bellamy would step forward and take his beloved hometown team to the Premiership.Sadly by the end of the season he will be just another average championship player.Dave Jones isn't getting the best out of him and didn't have the bottle to sub him today,he should have been the first one off!

Are you all having a laugh !? He may go missing in games but overall he is quality and with out him we would be fucked in middle off the league at best ?? a few bad games and some of you are saying send him back ?? Get over yourselfs. He is class he just hasnt had the service.

Dave jones always gets sussed out has tactics and our players.

perhaps we dont spend enough time organising game plans for our opponents as they do against us.

Bellamy needs to play on the flank and as wide to the touchline as possible, when the defender who is marking him stays tight to him like they should, it leaves a massive hole for chopra to exploit between defender and first centre half, cmon dave jones you must be be able to see that, so play him where he can cause the most damage and not out of position.

He got beaten to the ball by McAuley today...

He's definitely lost a yard of pace. Unfortunately, we have dragged him down to our level. If he went back up to the Premiership now he'd be buggered. :(

We were all saying exactly the same thing in the ground last night. Perhaps his knee is causing him far more trouble than he is willing to admit.

It says a lot about the way we play that we can take a top PL player and turn him into a mediocre championship player.
