We were best team for 1st hour and only luck kept Ipswich in it. When we went 1 down our heads dropped.

Just no finish in us today, every strike just looked half hearted like they deserved it and didnt have to work for it!

agree with you bledd we were very lucky to stay in touch with swansea today in a match they should have won. also we were very unlucky not to be winning by half time. fullop made some excellent saves to keep ipswhich in the game. man of the match for me. also we didnt respond to the pressure they put on us in the second half our attack just seemed to be non existent. jay played well in first half and parkin should have been brought on a lot earlier. hopefully he will get a start against palace next week.

all in all a game we should have took by the scruff of the neck and won but still in touch of second place.

rich we are only a point behind swansea and we all know they will not stay where they are for long. oli back for palace to strengthen the midfield. i do think jay should be dropped for the palace game and parkin given a chance. also i wish so much that dj would drop whitts for a game give darcy a go in next to oli with jet and burke on the wings. jet played really well today and burke is not strting enough for my liking. solid midfield and a solid target man up front. then he can always change things in the second half if they are not working.

i think the thing with jay he beleives in himself to much, this can be seen as arrogance by some people. especially since he got his england cap. he has got the ability to change a game you cant deny that. he is just in a to comfortable position. he does need a kick up the arse and i think that should be with palace. stick him on the bench along with whitts and bellers.

No, we wasn't. For me the worrying aspect of the second half decline was that we appeared to roll over and die when Bullard scored to give Ipswich the lead. I don't think we created ONE single decent chance after the goal. I'm sorry that is not the "backbone" of a side working together to secure promotion. It's not the end of the world, but, once again, a golden opportunity to put pressure on the other sides fighting for promotion has been missed.
