I feel every match we play that we seem to create the best matches but its just whether or not we convert those chances and we just simply haven't converted enough of those really good chances in the last few games.
Earlier in the season, Jay was banging in chances like that but he's frozen on the last few games when he's had a good opportunity but I'll still back him to bounce back and re-produce his best form.
One area that concerns me is that in the last 2 games we have conceded from corners. I remember last year this was a huge problem with most people blaming Marshall for this including myself. It simply needs to be sorted out. Plus, we never seem to actually score from corners, just concede from them!
We can definitely still achieve automatic promotion but I do feel it will require one of QPR or Forest to slip up which could well happen. But we have the players and we just have to believe. If we can start converting more chances there's no reason why we can't win at least 10 of the 14 games left and that's probably what we need to achieve automatic promotion.
If we can win the next few games, confidence will be sky high and hopefully QPR and Forest will drop some points and everyone's confidence levels will be up again. It's amazing really, if we win the next few games, everyone will be buzzing again.
We've got some very tough games coming up in the next week or so with Leicester at home on Tuesday night. That will be a very tough match with the quality of players Sven's team has. But hopefully with Rambo and Chops back in the team we can get the 3 points which in all fairness is what we need if we are to achieve automatic promotion.
We can definitely still do it, we just need to be more clinical in front of goal and probably win at least 10 of the 14 games left including the match against QPR but first we need to beat Leicester on Tuesday night and then Hull the Saturday after.
