Stewards at Nottingham Forrest

Always been regarded amongst the worse in the country...they are very provocative and will try to eject fans at every opportunity especially isolated fans...Tomorrow with 3,000 up there they will have less chance to do this but please be careful. they start stuff then the police get involved and before you know it you are ejected or arrested.

There used to be a stadium manager there, Eddie something or other that we used to bombard with letters of complaint but he is gone now but the stewarding is still bad. My mate is gone 60 and a Pompey fan, he was there with his friend (aged 62) at the Forest v Pompey game earlier this season...everyone was standing up and the stewards were arguing with fans to sit, the two I am talking about moved across to a quieter section with fewer Pompey fans, five minutes later a steward came over to the 62 year old and told him he was escorting him out of the stadium for persistant standing( even tho there were over 1500other younger culprits doing the same)

My mate immediately followed his friend to protest and asked the police to help sort this out, but the police officer said he was powerless and it was the stewards call...my mate asked the steward his name and number, he was refused this and finally told that he too was ejected to join his friend outside...only 20 minutes into the game.

All they could do now was leave the City ground or face arrset and write a letter of complaint but ofcourse they missed the game...there are loads of examples of this happening there so please take care Tomorrow.

a lad stood infront of me and big Gwyn last season was singled out for nothing by a total jobsworth stewart , then the police had him on half time !!!!! The lad did nothing wrong what so ever

Plymouth Fans were telling me how a few seasons ago they were dragged out for standing up and it ended with 6 arrests.

I've been there 3 times and everything ok, hope it continues

Also lads becarefull with arrests tomorrow Forrest will be up for it, remember the sentences from Chelsea don't get involved not worth it nowadays.

Big warning If they speak to you in the ground, often they wont tug you there coz it will kick off, but if you go down to the concourse for a pint or a piss they will isolate you, be warned.
Without doubt the biggest bunch of wannabe policemen who couldn't cut it and became stewards, they are like a para military group.

They are a right bunch of wankers. Got kicked out a couple of seasons ago by a big black audley harrison lookalike. he had no balls waited until i went to the toilet and followed me in with 4 other stewards. I told him to f**k off and backed against a wall ready to have a go at them 1 of them went and got the police to finish the job to get me out. tried to take my photo and told me i was banned for life from their ground. the coppers told not to take any notice and they have no right to take my photo (as the police already have it) LOL. Went the following season and had no problems

Yeah, I've been there twice with limited problems. In fact, they were actually quite helpful when we couldn't get into our section. They showed us a section where there was space and just said 'don't worry about standing, there's too many anyway'. Still, just as likely to run into a c**t as a nice chap these days!

Totally agree, the stewarding is totally over the top. That corner above where the away fans sit, theres always idiots cowardly throwing stuff down at away fans and when I was there last about 4/5 years ago a young girl of about 13 got hit by an object and was bleeding from the head. Quite naturally things kicked off as the stewards upstairs were doing nothing to stop the missiles. They are the worst I have ever seen, total jobsworths and the best thing you can do is ignore them and stick together in numbers as they will not do anything then.

Are stewards actually allowed to use any force and escort you from the ground? Not sure on the laws etc as such now but certainly up here they didn't used to be allowed to put a finger on you unless you entered the field of play. Best advie is to stay away from them.

With respect, isn't that part of your statement an admission he did wrong according to the pathetic rules laid down within that stadium??
