This is the big, ugly world of Scottish football and we all know what "hun" means and the context in which it is used by the bheasts in the east.

In any event, I consider the use of the term "hun" to be sectarian, therefore by definition, it is sectarian. Isn't that the fundamental test we are always told applies? Or if the target is a Rangers supporter does that relieve the offender from guilt, and preclude the victim from being offended?

If you're still in doubt about whether the word is sectarian, ask Nil by Mouth, or consult Celtic's internal procedures where using the term will result in immediate disciplinary action. So Liewell will be taking action against Ledley, right?

But Joe Ledley wasn't content with hurling sectarian abuse, he had to take it further:

"Wot he say? F***** c***? He won't get near me! Hun"

I humbly suggest to Mr Ledley that he should concentrate on kicking a ball, which he has barely achieved this season, rather than sucking up to the demented green and grey hordes on Twitter.

Imagine the furore if, say, Diouf had tweeted a foul-mouthed, sectarian insult – WWIII here we come! Front page, back page; every unsavoury incident perpetrated by him before his time in Scotland would have been dragged up again. Wall to wall TV coverage, especially BBC Scotland, or Celtic TV as it is better known. His nursery teacher from Senegal would have been traced at great expense and the notorious 'he pushed a boy that stole his toy' incident would be analysed by some no-mark psychologist. Otherwise known as Odious Creep. Did I say psychologist? I meant timmy-apologist.

For goodness sake, Kyle Lafferty only had to ask the Lurgan Bigot Lennon what the score was on Twitter and it made the tabloids.

We'll no doubt be subjected to the usual excuses: "it wisnae me", "I meant it affectionately", "somebody hijacked my account with £30 software". Heard it.

That is actually how I read it, and TC also says it further down the screen.

However the bit that throws me is that it was all deleted which makes me wonder just a touch.

I think as soon as it was clocked everyone was waiting for the "it wasn't him" - are we really to believe that someone hacked into Joe's Twitter then had a conversation with Tony Capaldi? At least when Jay used the word "Yid" he had the balls to put his hands up and apologise!

Sectarian? The only problem here, and it's a minor little problem - Scotland is not sectarian. Just because two sets of brain dead footie fans who are desperate to get some sort of identity think they are sectarian doesn't make it so.

You are Scottish from Scotland, you are not Irish from Northern Ireland. Live with it. And ffs get your own identity rather than trying to gather some pathetic link with the troubles in NI.

In this part of the world we can also note the odd sad attempt from our 6 fingered neighbours with their union jacks with the "loyalist" slogans. Now they are brain dead to be fair.
