Koumas speaks out..

Mon Feb 14, 2011 7:17 pm

"I owe the Bluebirds fans and that debt will be paid," "The fans will see me back to where I was when I last played for Cardiff. That's a promise." .

"I haven't played consistently for two seasons and it's been tough," he said. "But I will start banging on the door soon to get on that pitch from the start. Our fitness coach (Alex Armstrong) told me at the start of the season it would be tough, but I wouldn't have any of it.

"I wanted to hit the ground running, but it wasn't possible.

"I have had an ingrowing toenail done again and that kept me out for two weeks.

"But I want to be involved against Burnley because I am ready to make an impact."

He looked very positive and enjoyed a good joke with Steve Tucker, really good to see Special K with a smile on his face. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Looked so much more confident and up for it on the pitch on Saturday and across as his old self in the interview. I remember an update saying he'd been having trouble or was depressed I thought this before too looked so awkward on the pitch let's hope he's back to his old self :ayatollah:

Really hope this is the case. And agreed with the above it would be like a new signing and what a signing it would be. I wish him well as he will need to really impress to win over the fans again. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I hope JK finds his touch from free-kicks again, definitely the best set piece taker at Cardiff over the past 10 years.
