Very intelligent bloke, can see him being a very good manager in the future.

Was just going to post a thread about him. Such a welcomed change that an intellectual and well-spoken footballer is used as a pundit rather than the mundane ones we currently have to put up with.

He gives insightful opinions on tactics and about how he see’s other clubs, rather than the other pundits who just state the obvious. Very likeable guy who will have a good career ahead of him once he retires from football. I genuinely hope that if he does go into football management that he will become a pundit, as he has the qualities to be one of the best pundits in football.

You lads got there before me. The only thing that frightens me is the way he's staring at that presenter guy when he's talking. Looks like an enthusiastic child wanting to say something!

I like Carlisle though, both as a man and as a player.
