the best thing about today for me was to see j koumas back and looking sharp!
ok he dident have much of the ball to work with, infact i can only realy remember 2 times but 1 was a great through ball and the other was the curling cross that led to our goal!
tracked back to defend and put pressure on there players.
i really hope he can take confidence frrom this and get even more game time to prove himself!

I disagree, He is just not with it anymore and in My Opinion the player I thought was once a great is not there no more.

Great little cameo performance from Jason.
There is so much goodwill towards Koumas, however frustrated we have been with him since his return.
Let's hope there is more to come from him.

Well from what DJ have said Koumas has had a problem with his toe and he has had an op on it but lets hope he can get back to what he use to be.
Sat Feb 12, 2011 6:21 pm
Agree that he looked to be heading in the right direction. I was delighted to see him come on and do well.

Anyone expecting the Koumas of 5 years ago is being a bit silly - time moves on.
What he did today was show glimpses of what he can offer.
A good cross for the goal; also played a lovely crossfield ball inside their left back for Quinn.
If he can build on that, then I can see Bellamy getting more rest for key games.

Serious Annis?????????I thought the subs made a difference today which shows our strength in debt. I thought koumas tried hard today!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats a bit harsh on Annis!
Seriously though I though he looked far more up for it today, he touch was good and he looked far sharper. Who knows he may still come through for us in the run in. May be important when Ramsey heads back.

i was glad to see koumas get on today.
not long enough to judge him properly but his body language was diferent today he seemed up for it and confident

Well done Jason, played some nice stuff in the short time he was on the pitch.
I watched him at half-time and he seemed really up for the game.

HE looked good today.I hope it`s not a false dawn we will need him when Rambo goes back.
Sat Feb 12, 2011 8:32 pm
Hopefully, the first step on the road to recovery. His cameo today was the best he's looked since his return. For whatever reason he hasn't looked anywhere near right this season, but we should all support him while he's playing for us.

Me too, he has so much talent, shame to see it wasted.

Great cross for the goal and one lovley through ball that was only slightly overhit - better than any of his previous appearances this season apart from maybe Reading away with more to come I hope.

Is it time for Koumas to start on Tuesday, all these games coming thick and fast, time to utilise our squad?
Sun Feb 13, 2011 2:25 pm
i thought he looked sharper and he seems to have lost weight
Sun Feb 13, 2011 6:59 pm
Koumas looked great, touch vision and desire was all there where he has previously looked shadow of his former self. Think we will be seeing more of him in next two games

Sorry Annis, Total bullshit and still has a massive part to play in our season. I honestly see Jason as Rambos replacement when he goes back. They are so similar in the way they play. Hopefully Jason is taking notes

Considering a lot of people had written him off this season it was great to see him looking confident and hungry for the ball.
Let's hope this bodes well for his future and the squad as the run in gets tougher.
Sun Feb 13, 2011 7:44 pm
He did ok when he come on, I was impressed with his work rate.
I dont see him having a masive impact over the rest of the season but can be useful in the odd game
Sun Feb 13, 2011 9:26 pm
What did he say on the Cardiff City Player interview?
Sun Feb 13, 2011 10:07 pm
He got back and tackled that lad from scunthorpe fair play to him and looked ok . I hope you are wrong Annis and he becomes a big help to the squad but I am not confident yet but he did ok and it was nice to see him play ... He looked well and happy waving to supporters at the lights in the car with Chops so I am hoping this could be a turning point for him

Along the lines of:-
- Hadn't played regularly in two years before joining us
- Hadn't kicked a ball in 8 months before joining us
- He misjudged his fitness when he joined us, fitness coaches said it would take him a few months to get up to speed but he tried to hit the ground running
- He's picked up loads of niggling injuries since joining us
- He's trained solidly for 2 weeks now and feels good for it
- He's determined to get into the first team over the next few weeks and wants to be involved in each game, starting with Tuesday
- He's not closed the door on Wales, but wants to get back playing regularly for Cardiff first.
My opinion is that he sounded extremely determined and pretty upbeat about his chances of getting back into the team. He sounded very confident in his own ability.
Didn't sound disinterested in football at all as has been widely speculated, in fact he sounded the total opposite.
If he plays as good a game as he talks then we may have a very good player coming back into form, timed very nicely with Ramseys loan ending in a few weeks.
