A forum for all things Cardiff City

After all this Chelsea stitch up i really think its time for city away fans to stop working so closely with the police. Yes u'll tell me this won't happen? but compared to other clubs we treated like shit anyway ? they try to befriend us, then stitch us up good and proper.
Personally I think the cardiff old bill looked to make a statement on this game and come down on supporters who may not be angels at away games, but are certaintly not 'grade A hooligans'
City fans over the last few years have worked with the police closely at away games and done everything by the book, being shipped to pubs, picking up tickets from serivces, bus organiser phoning them up to say were here etc..................after what happened to some lads makes you think why don't we protest against them and the courts?
Now i'm not saying let 1,000 city loose at an away game and start a riot. Just saying lets not be treated like sheep and our away days spoiled ........................WE HAVE RIGHTS about time we stood up to be counted.
I know Vince has had a good go over the years with protests etc but ,maybe we need a mass peaceful one.!!!!!rant over.

I organise coach for away games from the Rhondda area, and I have got to admit, i find the S.W.P supportive at times when we go away, simon for example i have a lot of respect for him, I am 21 years old, running coaches and he helps me out in any way possible, as he does I'm sure with other bus reps.
But partly, yes i agree with you, we go to places on times, that there is minimal risk of trouble, but still get escorted everywhere, personally though I think it does make it a bit easier for the reps knowing where you need to go and knowing what time your heading to stadium for match etc.....

Simple fact is, we are paying the price for our past notoriety, very few police forces in england or wales trust us! The word cardiff translates into trouble in there book!

I've never understood it when I see city fans cosying up to the ob ? I would never ever trust the ob & people that do will get stung in the end.

I think one away game we should all go by cars or on the train even supporters club........... everyone, then they can chase us around all day and notice that sometimes we just want to be left alone to enjoy a few pints!
