The Reason I am asking this question, is to find out if people like reading Carl's updates,even if you dont like what he says and whether they should continue.

I enjoy reading them because it's a fairly honest portrayal of what is going on. It clearly isn't what everyone wants us to hear but I've certainly felt better about our club since he's provided them and over the general course of events I feel his updates have had more of a positive impact on our club than negative. Keep it up Carl!

Voted "Don't know" for various reasons.

1. Some stuff, i.e finances, I just don't want to know as it can be depressing.
2. Some stuff should remain within the boardroom/changing room - end of.
3. Sometimes I suspect Carl is being fed stuff which is inaccurate
4. Sometimes some stuff is being passed on to Carl which COULD be detrimental to the club.

On the other hand, some of it is interesting, so......I don't know.

Excellent point, good and the bad. It seems to me some don't like them because they don't always include positive news. This is like going to the doctors, and telling him to only ever give you good news. Not very informative or useful.
