Add bellamy, Ramsey, collison, Bale and we have a chance.

Yeah, looks positive on that side of things. The thing is we have a more than good enough squad to be in at least the top 50, but were not even close to breaking into the top 100 at the moment.

3 individual errors played a part in each goal ( Vaughan , Gunter and Hennesey ) plus a lightweight non existant MF until Ledley appeared and a very soft and slow back 4 and 3 or 4 Championship forwards who have either seen better days or just cant cut it ? Thankfully Ramsey , Collison , Bale and Edwards will bolster MF plus Williams and Gabbidon in defence and then Bellamy and Evans up front .

Robson - Kanu and Eardley should never play for Wales ............ they are shite , Earnie Im sorry to say is well past his sell by date which is a shame really .

Sorry - I thought it was a woeful performance. Admittedly, we were missing a few first teamers but there was no spark whatsoever. Hardly a chance created, passionless and arguing amongst each other and thats in Speed's first game. He was never my choice, but you would like to think that he could have got the players up for it.

Our decline started when we sacked Terry Yorath after we had almost qualified for the World Cup in 1994 and we have been clueless ever since. To lose 3-0 to that ROI side was shameful and I hope they all take a long hard look at themselves this morning. I feel sorry for the guys who travelled over who you could hear trying to back the team even at 3-0 and who got absolutely nothing back. If thats the level we are going to be playing at under Speed's regime - I'm out. My missus who has not been following football that long commented that it was like watching a league 2 team.

Gary Speed needs more experience IMO, he should manage a low league team and gradually climb the ranks. Flynn should be manager cause he knows the young players better than anyone else and our sqaud is young. Ahwell onwards and >>upwards?<< I suppose :ayatollah:

Flynn as a club manager sucked.

It's one thing to work at u21 level - obviously the age restrictions limit player pools. Massive difference with full internationals.

And equally, Flynn as U21 manager smacked of Dave Jones. Get them so far, but fall at last hurdle.
