How far is forests ground from the train station ?

Easy walk mate. Out of the car park, down the road to Hooters, stop there for an hour or so, out of Hooters, turn right, follow the river along past Meadow Lane and the City Ground is across the river a little further on.

Thinking of letting the train taking the strain

20 minute walk,turn left as you come out the station,through a built up area and you come out by the trent,done it last year.You pass their pub The Globe i think it was called.

Watch yourself on that walk though. I have done it several times, admittedly many years ago, when we played Forest and also the days of us playing Notts County. There's always a fair few Forest waiting along the way to have a pop.

Its hard to find, you literally can't see the woods for the trees, or in this case the forest.

I did say it was a good few years ago, I am talking over ten years since i went there by train so things might have changed.
