cant take anything away from her, it's very admirable and a brave thing to do.

BUT alot of people, myself included may think that you confront them, armed robber brandishes a weapon(in this case the crobar he was smashing the window with) and injures you (potentially fatally) not exactly worth dying for isit. thats what we pay police for and instead they spend their time convicting football fans for next to f**k all when they could be catching real criminals like this lot! she was brave but it was flirting on the borders of stupidity, would it have showed it on the news if the robbers gave her a hammering and ended her innings. probably not. she would have been a local hero for 5 minutes, and the family would have rued her ever confronting them in a crimewatch appeal because in hindsight it would have been pretty pointless.

Could she replace Naylor? She moves at some pace for a 75-year old. She closes down the attack very effectively. A possible recruit for the CCFC defence and with clear potential in the counter-attack.

If there is any community service in the sentencing, the thieves should be made to tend her garden and do her shopping (without sledgehammers) for life.

What is it with the younger generation who are too useless to intervene or prefer to film it?
