Shay Given.....

With the rumour on here of Shay Given signing on loan soon(not started by me!) I was thinking....after today's defensive performance, do we need him? Or any goalie!! It's not like Tom Heaton had to do much today!!

we will need him we will play better teams than swansea before the end of the season thieir strikeforce is shit

As good as he is we don't need him, we got two good keepers already

If we sign him on loan i think automatic promotion would be guaranteed. I have no confidence in Heaton or Marshall when the going gets tough

Shay Given is ROCK SOLID. Pretty much any team in Prem would take him, so I don't see why we shouldn't. Yeah, we have two adequate keepers, but does that mean we don't need Shay? Imagine if he went to Forest, you'd all be shitting ourselves

This^^^^. Our keepers are'nt good, they are average. Lonergan, Kenny, Westwood, Speroni to name a few, are much better.
