Dave Jones

We have seen it before, and we then all hope that he would change. But again last night in the first half Dave Jones dropped Chopra. And the question everyone was asking was why. Chopra had been playing so well, but then i understand it was only because Olly was injured not because he knew he was wrong to drop him that Chops was introduced to the action.

But do i believe Jones can take us up ? i honestly believe that he wont, And instead of looking forward to the Jack game i am now dreading it as hell knows what team he will put out and what tactics he will use. What i do believe is, i dont think there is a manager in this league that wouldn't walk this league with the squad we have. The defensive problems we have had and he had a month to remedy this and he has done nothing. We have signed a new centre back but surely he could of played him last night and dropped Naylor with Mcnaughton covering left back, but again he didn't.

Sorry if i don't feel positive but i can see the bigger picture but let me say now i totally respect the opinions of the pro DJ brigade but i just cant see there reasons to the facts that are put in front of us by a clueless Dave Jones. We are down to 5th now with massive games away to the Jacks and Scabs and we could honestly drop out of the play offs all together. And with our squad that would be tantamount to total incompetence by DJ.

A lot of pro DJ fans will say 'were still in the play offs', 'every team has a bad patch', 'judge him at the end of the season'.
Fair enough, we beat both Leeds and Watford; allowed Norwich back in because.of DJ not shutting up shop.

However, the team is far too good not to get promoted. Beating leeds and watford is pointless if we drop points to Reading, lose to watford, bristol city away etc. We need to judge him now - infact, he shouldve been judged in Nov and Dec, and held accountable. Even with SOME good results from us, we are STILL slowly slipping down the table. Forest now have more points than us with a game in hand. We have let everyone else back in, and it should not be the case with a squad like that (even with Naylor).

We wouldn't even be discussing this if DJ had been able to at least steer the team through nov and dec in an even average run of form; instead we got relegation form. Football is a cruel sport, this applies to managers too DJ doesn't need to be wrapped in cotton wool. His decisions are costing us.

Agree with your points on DJ, but disagree there.

It's like for example Leeds believing they were too good to be relegated from the Prem. You've no divine right, can have the best squad in the world, have to earn the right to be promoted.

Fair enough, I pershaps should have rephrased that bit. I just don't think we can assemble as good a team whilst in the championship ever again, so I think it would be a shame.
