As much as Kevin McNaughton played well last night, his strengths are surely
required at left back? This is where we all know we have the weak link in our team?
We've signed a player from Blackpool to play centre half, have other options
aswell, yet the manager refuses to drop a man that is costing us points. Both goals
came from the left side again last night.
Why?

Sums up DJ- Stubborn and no passion

He plays our best full back at centre back?
He has the worst 2 full backs in the league (if McN'n is played at CB).
He leaves Chopra on the bench.
He 'strengthens' our defence pre season with Naylor & Heaton.
He is a clown.
He'll be out of a job in May. But seriously minted.
Fed to the back teeth of watching Jones' pathetic efforts at trying to get City out of this league with a mandate to spend, when some other clubs on a shoestring are above us.

Simples! He doesn't know what hes doing. The man is clueless.

DJ's rationale would be Super Kev has been immense at centre back.
Wouldn't disagree with that, he's helped Hudson improve.
Problem is, the glaring problem lies elsewhere...
All I can think of with Keinan is I don't think he played for Blackpool, or very little, so being brought along slowly.

Why break up two of the best strikers and put one with a guy thats style is the same as the other and then one of them plays down the right wing for most of the first half ? Only DJ knows this and he can say him self.

Soccerbase is wrong - often they leave data blank if they don't have it.
keinan has played penty of games for Maccabi Haifa, including in the Champions League.

That was probably DJ's thinking, although as you rightly point out by fixing one problem DJ is creating another.

From an outsiders view I think he was brought in as cover and not as a solution to your defensive problems as some may have thought it was.
We brought in Danny Shittu & Pascal Chimbonda arguably 2 of the best defenders in this division but combined have seen 0 minutes of action so far. Same scenario, cover and not the answer.
DJ obviously has more faith in the back 4 you currently employ on match day.

Chimbonda best defender in the division?
He's gash... even with defensive injuries nowhere near Spurs bench...

Did I say he was the best defender in the division? No I didn't did I. I said the 2 of them are ARGUABLY two OF the best defenders in this division, or would you say your back 4 are better? Chimbonda has never played outside the PL, what he will bring in experience and composure will be invaluable once called upon. And for your info we got him from Blackburn not Spurs
NERD-You really do live up to your name don't you. Sighhhhhh

Surely with a big derby game ahead on sunday jones should have played keinan last night to get him up to the pace abit.
Now he will probably thow him in at the deep end and have a stinker

I really hope not and think he is too experienced a player for that although you will be surprised how quick you lose your match sharpness.
