dj will not take us up he hasnt the nous.......... his starting formation last night was shocking i would expect my 2 year old to do better, why was our creative atacking midfielder sitting in front of the back 4 and our holding midfielder just behind boths and jet. an injury to oli half time forced him to change the formation if it was left to dj it would have stayed as it was. as for resting chopra squeeky bum time swansea coming up lets all flap rest players and change formation to nulify them ffs

Deano, thats the first time youve ever agreed with me, the only thing I disagree with is that I believe my Husky Dog can manage them better than him :ayatollah: and Sadly its exactly how I have always felt about DJ, Its SAd really as now fans are hoping that we can at least hold on to a play off place.
This Squad has abundance of Talent, but it needs to have a manager to go with it, perhaps if DJ lets the coaching staff take over for a while, he could learn a few things in tactics.

I've always stuck with DJ but his tactics are starting to frustrate me know.

How come everybody else can see what needs to be changed or what our starting line up should be apart from him? Ok, so not everybody starting 11 will be exactly the same but, take last night for instance, starting Bothroyd and JET up front together must have made the Reading defence extatic. I'm sure when they heard the starting 11 for us, they like most of us would have thought that it would have been Bellamy playing up front with Bothroyd. As a defender myself I know playing against someone with pace is an absolute nightmare and Reading would have been shitting themselves but with Bothroyd and Jet (two holding players) it makes the game so much easier to read and control.

Then halfway through the first half DJ finally twigged that maybe JET would have been better off on the wing, and, suprise suprise we started to look more threatening and started controlling the game ourselves.

And then there's the Naylor issue. I am behind him 100% when he starts, but can't help finding myself, like everybody else questioning why he is starting. We have far better options in that position but DJ for some crazy unknown to me reason absolutely loves the guy. I have said since the beginning of the season that McNaughton should be our No.1 LB (I believe his favourite position also) and then use Darcy at RB where he was outstanding in the first game of the season. We also have Matthews who can play there, although DJ sees him as more of a RM, if we play him enough he may even enjoy playing for us once again and not bugger off to a lesser league on a free!!

Jonesy has done well over the years with most of his transfer aquisitions (there are a few that differ from that statement!), I mean how many other managers in this league would have pulled off the transfers of Fowler, Jimmy, Trev and Bellamy and find jems in Roger, Naughts, Burkey, Jay, Ross, who all combined prob cost less than a million to purchase. Granted there were more than likely higher powers helping him out (not GOD though!) but I think that this is his strongest and best contribution to the club.

I would hate to see the club lose DJ but maybe it is time for him to take a seat upstairs and work the transfer front allowing somebody else do the tactical/managerial side of the game.

While he's in charge of us, as I have previously stated I am behind him 100%. Come on Jonesy, prove everybody wrong and take us up as champions, PLEASE!!!
