some people make out only naylor was poor probably the same fans who blamed hudson for everything..
naylor was poor i agree but so was whittingham.. he cant battle he cant head the ball or run and his passing was crap tonight he gave the ball away no end of times.. jet was poor aswell he looked lost and bellamy/bothroyd wernt to clever the first half either..naylor was crap but so were a few others but fans seem to hardly notice that..
it hardly helps the player when his own fans get on his back all the time its disgusting .

I have stuck up for Naylor plenty of times but there was no defending that performance today worry.

And I dont agree about Witts who I thought really got stuck in (well for him anyway) in the second half.

Its the consistency of how shit he is that's the problem and all the other can make something happen to justify them being there.
The only thing Naylor can justify is bringing back crucifixion!

There's no denying a lot of players had (another) off day, but there is a definate weakness down Naylor's side of the pitch.

agree with you that its wrong to give him stick while hes playing but lets be fair and totally honest LEE NAYLOR is a league 1 player and is out of depth big time he gets skinned week in week out and brings nothing to the table imo.

Look, the reason we are where we are is because we have got a shit defence. Scoring ain't the problem. Out of the back four, the only one who's up to it is McNaughton. And don't come bleating on about Hudson. He's crap too. There's a reason why opposition forwards love playing against him.

Jones has to to take the fall for this. He's been here for 5 years and most of his defensive signings - Gypes, Hudson, Quinn - are a crock.

At the end of the season, my greatest fear is you're gonna have Bellamy saying "We could have done it at Cardiff, if the defence wasn't such a joke." Our defence is a bigger disgrace than the fans who boo Naylor.
