I am in 116 and fed up of our own fans around me.

In a nutshell if the ball is on the right hand side it's Naylor's fault regardless of anything.

I know he's not the best but I am fed up of it, he cannot do anything right by the morons around me.

These "fans" were even booing JET tonight before he went off.

I heard boos toward Naylor thats not good during the game as he is shit enough without making it worse.

Jet didnt do well tonight either but I didnt hear booes towards him it is crazy I agree if they are doing that this why message boards are good you can release your anger on here as I am angry that Jones turned ou Mathews but Naylor had made more mistakes than anyone and he is still in the team.

fans booing there own players pisses me off. i admit i shouted some unpleasant things towards naylor, but he cant hear that, he can hear the boos though when he goes near the ball. he is poor and hopefully he doesnt start sunday, but even still booing wont help.
JET was poor, but FFS everyone was saying he was class last week.

footballs a funny game and the players need the fans to back the manager and the squad and i find it astonishing that the fans don't back either, what happened to the cauldren of ninian park??? where teams feared us and opponents struggle to keep the ball??? why has the atmosphere gone??

i'll tell you why cos the fans feel we have the right to get auto promotion, you gotta earn that right with all of us sticking together and that is NOT evident at CCS, not now not ever!!!
its a real shame!!! players thrive on confidence something which our fans are sucking out of the players from the moans and constant groans of disaproval after every bad touch, every poor shot, every missed tackle!!

our support used to be famous its not anymore!!
and granted we have ONE of the best squads in the league now but so do QPR, FOREST, NORWICH and hate to say it THE JACKS.....

Lets be one eyed, biased, anything you want to call it, but SUPPORT our team.

I came out of the game last night thinking i'd love to chin a few of our own fans they pissed me off that much.

Of course the players can hear us, give them a break.

nobody by me in 115 booed either , altho plenty were shouting criticism at Naylor and quite rightly so coz he is defo the week link in a poor back 4 ! JET wasnt to blame coz DJ decided to break up a winning team in order to play Whittingham and Ramsay .............. IMO 1 of those 2 should have started on the bench with Chops upfront . Fans boo out of frustration due to the high expectation levels now at the CCS and quite rightly so ...... Jones has the players he wants and us fans expect more from them . Jones needs to find JET's true position and not swap him around like he did with Etuhu last season PLUS he needs to remeber that Ramsey leaves in 20 odd days too !

I just wonder if JET has a sulk on considering Wenger's comments about recalling him? Wouldn't be the first player to turn shit because his mind was else where.

he's prob fed up playing 2 diff positions in 2 games ............ no way did Chops deserve to get dropped for last night

I know expectations are high but go easy!!!!

JET is a real talent, a young lad and we are already looking at negatives.

It's his second game, playing a new role, give him a break.

He was worshipped at Donny let's get behind him.

Let's get back to how we were as supporters.

Cheer or own, slate the opposition and make them feel intimidated.

I think we all try to be pundits rather than one eyed blue noses.

No one booed near me but they did show their frustration at Naylor who was having a bad day. McNaughton did a lot of covering for him and was the most effective of the back four. The ease with which Reading got behind us was frightening. In the first half tactics were not working and DJ should have done something about it.
The fans did their bit at the beginning and the noise was fantastic, but we were soon stunned into silience by the very lively Reading side.
For me there were some key players not giving 100%, and I include JB in that. DJ tactics were questionable in the first half.
Maybe the teams around us ikn the league want it more than us??

Yeah, I would never boo our own players but given the performance and work ethic of a few individuals last night those people who struggle to afford a match ticket can understandably be pushed to booing when these players on ridiculous sums of money put in such a shift. I think some were doing it just to try and convey the message to Jones about how bad one or two players were playing because he clearly couldn't see it.

Naylor had a very poor game - again, but to boo someone in a city shirt is just out of order. He wasn't the only one - Whittingham had an absolute shocker too and could do with being benched for a game or too, as did Quinn.

We must play 4-4-2 against the jacks, but can DJ risk brining in Keinan for a derby game - personally I think he has too and would line up like this:

Heaton
Quinn/Blake [prefer Matthews but we know that won't happen]. Hudson. Keinan [or Gyepes]. Super Kev [outstanding last night]
Burke. Ramsey. Oli. Bellamy.
Chopra. Bothroyd

I suspect however, it will look nothing like that...

Backup for Bothroyd at the time was Magennis. Game he broke his leg - against Blackpool - he had a stormer causing no end of problems.

Magennis was released just before the playoff final.

We then ended up with Etuhu up front.

I want to support the club in any way I can by doing things that CAN make a difference.

Supporting ALL the players. Can I do this? Yes

Joining in with songs. Can I do this? Yes

100% agree with everything you said. Fair enough, fans who pay their money should be able to have their say, on forums like this and amongst themselves, but what I do not understand in the slightest is when "fans" get on their own players back and boo them during matches... i'm not saying they don't deserve it for their performances but do people not realise that it isn't helping the player or the team one bit. Maybe we should boo the people booing for being awful fans huh? Cos they're doing affecting the team just as much as players like Naylor. It's ridiculous, during the game, why can't people just get behind the team and have your say afterwards!

I personally think Naylor should be dropped yeah, but if he's not, just get behind him during the game and stop making him more nervous and the situation worse.

And just for the record, out of all of our defenders that have actually played a decent amount of games this season (so not including quinn, riggott, matthews, etc) Naylor comes only 2nd to Gyepes in terms of the amount of minutes per goal conceded when that player is on the pitch. We concede every 80.06 mins when Naylor plays, every 92.36 mins when Gyepes plays. To put this in perspective, we concede every 73.25 mins when Super Kev plays, and every 74.93 mins as a team.
